Judy Ann Santos, aminadong nasaktan nang magtanong si Yohan tungkol sa mga tunay nitong magulang.

Actress Judy Ann Santos shared what she felt whenever someone asked her where are the biological parents of her ad0pted daughter, Yohan.

It was 2004 when Juday became a full-fledged mother through her eldest daughter Yohan.

Juday was only twenty-six then and not yet married to her husband, Ryan Agoncillo.

We all know that Yohan is only the adopted daughter of the actress. She also didn't hide it from Yohan and revealed the truth to her when she was still a child.

Meanwhile, in an interview with her by G3 San Diego, Juday said she is working on ways to not hurt her daughter about her past. She said she prayed that Yohan would know immediately that she had been adopted.

Juday said,

“She needs to know that the word adopted o adoption, hindi siya masama, tanggalin ‘yung stigma na ‘yan.”

Gradually, she informed Yohan about it and it started when her daughter was only four years old.

She said,

“It was a process of answering her questions, telling her the real situation and of course at some point ayaw mo din naman kasing ialis yung right nila na magtanong sa kung sino sila.”

The actress then became emotional when she shared the question Yohan once asked her on when she could see her biological parents.

According to him, it was fine for her for Yohan to see her biological parents but inside she was hurting.

She shared,

“Si Yohan at some point, palagi siyang nagtatanong ‘Do you know my mom? What if I want to see her?’ so I always tell her ‘you just let me know when you want if at some point, someday you want to meet your biological parents, it’s fine, I’ll find a way’.

“Pero syempre habang sinasabi ko ‘yun para akong sinasakal, parang pigang piga ‘yung puso ko, but that’s her right and kahit naman ako kapag andoon ako sa sitwasyon na ‘yon marami ka ring question.”

When Juday asked for advice for adoptive parents like her or for those who have plans to adopt in the future.

She said don't take too long to tell the children the real situation.

Juday said,

“If there’s one advice that I could give to adopted parents out there, wag niyong pagalin.”

She added,

“Ang takot ko kasi, malaman niya sa ibang tao.”
