Coco Martin reflects on his birthday

Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin just turned 36 years old (according to his Wiki page) today, November 1.

Tagged as the primetime king for scoring numerous hits and number one's in prime time television, Coco's rise to stardom wasn't easy and didn't achieve it overnight.

In his Instagram post, Coco is thankful for every blessing he has received in life despite the many sablays (failures) he has done in the past.

Aside from his teleserye on ABS-CBN, Coco is busy as actor, producer, and director of his upcoming movie "Ang Panday" which is an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.

Battle of Undas 2017 Movies: The Ghost Bride vs Spirit of the Glass 2

Two local horror movies are opening simultaneously this November 1.

The first one tells a story of an ancient Chinese traidtion while the other a popular indoor game seeking the attention of ghosts.

The Ghost Bride stars Kim Chiu in her title lead role in a horror movie with Matteo Guidicelli as her leading man under the direction of Chito Roño for Sar Cinema.

Kim plays Mayen, a Filipino-Chinese who lives with her family in Binondo, Manila. A crisis hit their household when her father fell sick. A mysterious lady played by Alice Dixson offered her a business proposal which promises a huge payment in return - that is to marry a dead person.

  

Spirit of the Glass 2 (The Haunted) stars Cristine Reyes, Benjamin Alves, and Daniel Matsunaga under the direction of Joey Reyes for Octo Arts Films.

Three friends gain popularity through social media: BEA, LISETTE, and CHELSEA, each has their own partners. They would be ensnared in the complicated world of the supernatural because of an article inherited by BEA from her grandaunt --- an Ouija board, which opens the gates of the other world for spirits to connect with them. They are harassed by these disturbed souls to help them seek justice, for a crime committed fifty years ago.

Videos of the judges were released Thursday to invite talented Pinoys to show off for auditions in specific cities.

So what do these two celebrities look for a great talent?

Angel answered, "Dapat nararamdaman ko iyong bawat paggalaw. Hindi ako bibitiw mula umpisa hanggang dulo."

"Gigil na gigil ako. Gusto kong makakita ng petmalu na performance. Ganun1 Lodi. Narinig mo ba kyah?", Vice Ganda said in the video.

Dennis Trillo renders voice for Gong Yoo's character in Train To Busan

Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo will render his voice for Seok-woo, the character played by Korean superstar Gong Yoo in the tagalized version of the hit Korean movie "Train To Busan".

Train to Busan is a 2016 South Korean zombie apocalypse action thriller film which stars Gong Yoo (Coffee Prince, Goblin, Jung Yu-mi, and Ma Dong-seok.

The film takes place on a train to Busan, as a zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks in the country and compromises the safety of the passengers.

Both Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil updated their respective Instagram accounts with photos of them together while having a candlelight dinner somewhere in Tagaytaty City on Tuesday night, October 24.

In a previous interview with Boy Abunda sometime in July last year, Enrique said they treat each other like boyfriend and girlfriend.



But in a separate interview, Liza was quick to deny Quen's statement. “Hoy, hindi ah!” said Liza when asked about their relationship.

"Yunng lolo ko ayaw pa niya. Sabi niya hintay pa raw ako ng mga 25.", Liza added.

Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo and kapuso actress Rhian Ramos team up for the first time in a romantic-comedy movie titled "Fallback".

In the movie, Zanjoe plays Alvin, a struggling animator who's waiting for the break he deserves to direct an animated film. He would eventually be working with his ex-girlfriend Michelle played by Rhian Ramos.

Michelle is still in a relationship when she crossed path again with Alvin. Feeling confused with her feelings, will she choose him as her fallback?




Written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana (The Third Party, Love is Blind, 100 Tula Para Kay Stella), the movie also stars Tetchie Agbayani and Daniel Matsunaga.

The movie opens very soon in cinemas nationwide.

Paulo Avelino, Derek Ramsay, and Bea Alonzo star in new movie "Kasal"

Bea Alonzo will be reunited to two of her leading men in the past for a new movie under Star Cinema titled "Kasal".

A story conference was held today for the said movie which was attended by Bea herself, Derek Ramsay, Paulo, Avelino, and the people behind the production.

Jason Francisco leaves kapamilya network for GMA7

Pinoy Big Brother alumnus Jason Francisco has moved to GMA 7 leaving her wife Melai Francisco in ABS-CBN.

Jason made his first appearance in the kapuso network via its Sunday variety program "Sunday Pinasaya" based on his latest post on his Instagram accoun.

"Thank you #SundayPinasaya (Sayawit) Masaya ang aking first guesting Sa GMA", he wrote in the captioin.

The comedian lasted for 8 years in ABS-CBN starting as a housemate in PBB Double Up edition. Since then, he appeared in several shows like Melason series, Banana Split/Sundae, Precious Hearts Romances Presents, ASAP, and his last "FPJ's AngProbinsyano".




“Matagal na rin ako sa ABS-CBN, almost eight years, so susubok lang ako sa bagong surroundings, bagong experience, panibago naman,” Jason said in an interview.

Currently, Jason is being handled by Perry Lansingan of PPL Entertainment which handles the careers of GMA top personalities like Dingdong­ Dantes, Jaclyn Jose, Sunshine Dizon, Max Collins, Gabby Eigenmann, among others.
